As a healer, mystic and
practitioner who uses her “powers” for good, one of my passions is passing on
knowledge and information to my fellow empaths and other members of my "global
vibe tribe" for the purpose of self-mastery, self-empowerment and self-healing.
Many of us “vibe tribers” know a
lot. However, it is impossible to know everything, which is why sharing
information on our online platforms is so invaluable, in my opinion. Perhaps
many of you consider Aloe Vera to be a staple in your “witchy kitchens” and/or
apothecary shelves at home. Perhaps many of you do not. But, for those of you who
do utilize it regularly as a part of your medicinal and/or magickal
practice, I’m sure that there are some additional ways in which other healers
and practitioners use Aloe Vera that you haven’t yet heard of. Until now. 😊
This usage may be well-known among
those of us who come from a long and blended multi-generational bloodline of Native American, African, and African American ancestors who were shamans,
“medicine men & women” and yes, if you will—witches! As you know, many of
our ancestors from past generations who practiced “the craft” did not have
access to physicians and mainstream medical facilities like we do today. So,
they relied heavily on their knowledge of and kindship with Mother Gaia and the
herbs that she produced for their medicinal benefit. They understood
intuitively and spiritually that “herbs are for healing.”
And so, fast forward to now, here
I am, so fortunate and appreciative that this information has been passed on by
my sacred ancestors, the “Spiritual OG’s” in my bloodline, who through oral
tradition transferred this sacred and life sustaining wisdom, down to their
“chosen light bearers” from generation to generation, all the way down to me. What
a privilege! Even more of a privilege is that this sacred knowledge has also been
passed down to me through the living consciousness of my blood and genetics,
knowledge and codes which lied dormant, until a major catalyst for my spiritual
awakening and memory of the magick inside of me “kicked in.”
Now, when it comes to healing, I
am an advocate of preventative care and rely primarily on natural remedies.
Over the counter remedies and pharmaceuticals have their place in society as well in the order of
things, in my opinion. But for me personally, I only use
mainstream medicine and/or medical care as a “last resort” where a quick aid is
needed due to a lack of consistent application of natural remedies on my part, or because of a sudden stress-induced affliction where a natural remedy—due to the severity of the ailment—simply
will not suffice.
So, with all that aside, here are
six medicinal and magickal benefits of Aloe Vera (gel and juice included) that
I believe my fellow healers, mystics and practitioners should know about:
1. Aloe Vera can be used to
heal wounds:
Yes. Aside from wounds due to gun
shots, knife stabs, and that random, “freakish attack” from killer bees, Aloe
Vera (gel) can be used (topically) to heal minor wounds or skin rashes
that stem from sun burns, bug bites, or minor burns. Say, for example, if you
got a random burn one day from lighting one of your favorite candles because
you were not paying attention while you were multitasking. Aloe Vera can help
with that.
Or, perhaps you got sun burned
from doing rooftop yoga one morning. You were so motivated to get into your
morning routine that you forgot to apply some sunscreen. So, you went outside
your house looking like one of my Latina vibe tribers, but an hour
later, you came back in looking like one of my Nigerian vibe tribe
sisters! *chuckles* 😊
In this scenario, Aloe Vera would
come in handy as well in soothing and alleviating your extremely sun-burned
skin! But better not forget that SP-15 next time. Unless of course you plan on
marking a different box on the Census Bureau form in the near future!
In my case, I keep a refrigerated
jar full of fresh Aloe Vera on deck to heal wounds that come from me constantly
burning my damn finger while trying to light a piece of Palos Santos that has
burned down to a tiny little stump. Because yes, I love my Palos Santos
and I refuse to allow any part of it to go to waste! So, until one of my fellow “vibe tribers” and
creatives make a special “roach clip” for us Palos Santos lovers, I will
continue to take that consistent finger burn for the team! 😊
2. Aloe Vera can also be
used to help relieve digestive issues:
If you are a highly sensitive
empath like me, then you are constantly dealing with tummy issues because your
second, or “psychic brain” is located inside your solar plexus area, or your
belly. Now, this hypersensitivity is good for when you walk into a room and
your “gut instincts” kick in to alert you that there is a predator, an energy
vampire, or your average, everyday attention-seeking asshole within 100
feet of you! Not so good, however, if you want to just relax and enjoy a nice
meal, for example, at a busy restaurant by yourself, or with your spouse, loved-one,
or business associate.
That’s where good old Aloe Vera
comes in. I personally keep a small travel size jar handy in my purse so that I
can slip a tablespoon of it before a business lunch with a new client/customer when I know that I am going to
be around a lot of people, or on the weekends and evenings when I am dining out.
It beats taking Tums or those other over the counter antacids because of the
preservatives and junk in them.
And, although the taste of Aloe Vera is indeed acquired,
I’m a lot more at ease knowing that I am ingesting a more natural alternative
to what’s available in the stores for tummy relief. Not only that, but after a
few weeks of “downing” the wonder gel, you barely notice its somewhat bitter
and tarty after taste! Let the “global
vibe tribe coven” say, Ase’!😊
3. Aloe Vera can be used as
a laxative or a natural colon cleanser:
If you are a holistic health
enthusiast like me then you have learned, from experience, that “a happy colon
is a happy you!” And, if you are also like me, you have also learned that
striving for optimum health today with all the nefarious preservatives and
chemicals present in our foods and water is damn near on the level of engaging
in an all-out battle of spiritual and biological warfare!
Nearly everything we consume—not
to mention the air we breathe is contaminated to some degree or another. For
example, “they” tell you to drink lots of water for your health. But then most
water is contaminated. So, you buy bottled water. Well, the plastic bottles
seep BPA’s into your drinking water. That’s bad. So, you go out and buy an
expensive, top of the line copper water bottle.
Well, later you learn that copper
is toxic to the body. So, if you store your water too long in the copper bottle—some
say more than three hours—you will risk getting copper poisoning. And you could
die. That’s really bad. So, out of frustration, and to save a few bucks
you go back to drinking tap water. That is, until you learn, after watching a
“documentary for nerds” on You Tube that tap water is nothing more than “re-processed”
and sterilized sewage water! The f**k?! Now you have nightmares about dying from
consuming remanufactured toilet water before you actually die from the
shit! *No pun intended!* 😊 You see where I’m going here folks?
And don’t even get me started on
the war between the meat-eating mafia and the vegetable villains! Both sides are at
war. Both sides also claim that their way of eating is healthier. Yet both
sides are managing to kick the proverbial bucket equally to one another, while suffering
from pre-existing health conditions that foods sometimes just can’t heal. But
I’ll save that for another post. I believe you get my drift here when I say
that everything down to the foods you choose to eat, or not, is a constant life
or death battle.
With that being said, for those of
us who are still in “the game” of trying to figure all this stuff out, we have
at least learned that regularly detoxing the colon is beneficial. And, this is
where good old Aloe Vera comes in yet again. Aloe Vera can not only be used as
a mild, natural laxative, but it can also be used as a natural colon cleanser
for those of us who are advocates of doing seasonal detoxes. That’s four colon
cleanses a year for about a week or two in length. One for Summer, one for
Spring, one for Winter and one for my favorite season of all time: Fall! 😊
But, ladies and gentlemen, Aloe
Vera is not only great for medicinal purposes. It is also good for magickal
purposes! *cues thunder sound effects and creepy horror flick laughter* 😊
Listed below are just a few of the magickal uses for Aloe Vera that you, my
fellow empaths, healers and practitioners may find useful:
4. Aloe Vera can be used for
protection:
Yes. My fellow witchlings! Aloe
Vera can be used for spiritual protection for yourself and for your loved ones
by warding off baneful magick cast against you by your known and unknown enemies,
who may or may not be “practicing” black magicians.
One method of using Aloe Vera (the
plant) for magickal/spiritual protection is to hang an Aloe Vera plant over
your door way—which is an entry point, or portal to and from your home. This is
to drive away malevolent spirits and energies, including the “evil eye” away
from you and those who live with you in your home. If you are an empath,
healer, and/or practitioner who host parties often inside your home, and/or if
you just have that type of home with that “cozy vibe” that everyone loves to
come to, then you should definitely use the Aloe Vera plant as a form of
protection in your home.
As a norm, I require my guests to
take their shoes off upon entering my home. I also smudge them! At first, they
were a bit taken aback by my “eccentric ways.” But now, they understand why I
do what I do, and many of them now do the same. Some of my loved ones and
acquaintances even hire me to do cleansing rituals for their homes before
and/or after hosting parties, or when they are planning to have relatives and
friends at their homes during the holidays. And why? Because as empaths,
healers, and practitioners, we all understand the importance of energy, and how
it is transferable to both animate and inanimate objects.
For example, if a guest comes to
my home and she has previously been in a heated and unpleasant argument with
her mate or spouse before coming over, that “energy of strife” now has the
opportunity to enter into my home viaher auric field. And, if that
lower vibrational energy is not neutralized or cleansed from my home
immediately during, or after she and the other guests have left, it can
transfer to my home and everyone in it to cause disharmony. Facts!
You could also place an Aloe Vera
leaf under your bed for protection, and it would work similar to a dream
catcher. It would aid in warding off nightmares or bad dreams as well as
psychic attacks and astral projections from black magicians and workers of the
craft who are sexually-deviant and perverse! Because, quick side note here: many
of you may believe that incubus and succubus spirits are purely disembodied
spirits or entities.
And that is sometimes the case. But oftentimes, they are
nothing more than workers of the craft who have astral projected into your home
to commit astral rape! And yes, astral rape is a real phenomenon. But
more on this later. I’ll save the details for another post, because I “feel”
you wanting to know more about this topic! And if so, just let me know in the comment section below that you are
interested and I will write a post about it.😊
5. Aloe Vera can be used for
love spell workings:
Many healers and workers of the
craft, like myself also use Aloe Vera (gel, or juice) in love spell workings.
This is because Aloe Vera is associated with Venus—the planet that rules love
and passion, and the Moon which governs one’s mood and emotions. So, it would make
sense to use Aloe Vera for love workings right? Exactly! 😊
Now, before I tell you how I use
Aloe Vera in my love spell workings, let me first make it clear that, “I do
not cast love spells on unwilling and unknowing participants, ever!” In
fact, I wrote a blog post about it, so check it out if you have not yet read it. In
the past, when I have used Aloe Vera for love spell castings, I have only
used it with the permission or consent of my lover/mate. And even now that I am married and “happily off the market,” the rules still
apply today. Ok? Good! So now that we are clear on that. Let’s proceed.
One way that Aloe Vera can be used
in a love spell working is to make your lover or mate a tasty smoothie! Simply
add about two tablespoons of the gel into your blender with the smoothie while
citing your love incantation over the smoothie for the desired results.
Most female practitioners would find it useful to use Aloe Vera in your
partner’s “Love Smoothie” for the purpose of pro-longed stamina and energy, or
to consciously purge him from potential outside “energies” prior to love
making.
I think you know where I’m going with this. So, I’ll say no more. And
again, remember: Never, under any circumstance should you cast a love spell on
your partner or lover without his or her permission! It’s neither cool nor
kosher to violate another person’s free will, especially in the world of
magick. Besides that, you shouldn’t do it simply because there is some major karmic
backlash for doing that stupid shit! So, don’t do it! 😒
6. Aloe Vera is beneficial for
working glamor/beauty spells:
Because Aloe Vera (gel) serves
well in healing wounds and aiding the skin in its ability to retain its
moisture, smoothness and vitality, it is an excellent “magickal” ingredient to
use for glamor/beauty spells. For example, if you make your own “lotions and
potions” like me, then you would be pleased to know that you can add Aloe Vera
gel to many, if not all, of your handmade beauty potions for your hair, face
and entire body.
Just make sure that if you have
sensitive skin like I do, that you do a test first by placing some raw and
natural Aloe gel to your inner wrist first. And if by the next day, you don’t
have a little rash or a stinging sensation, then you are good to go! However,
if your face is too sensitive, then limit your use of Aloe Vera in your
glamor/beauty spells for your hair, nails, and body only. Also, remember to
“charge” your Aloe Vera gel first, prior to adding it into your glamor/beauty
potions for the desired effects.
And that, ladies and gentlemen are
the 6 benefits of Aloe Vera for my fellow empaths, healers and practitioners!
Now, of course you know that there are many more benefits than the ones
I have listed here, and perhaps you know of some benefits that I don’t yet know
about. If so, I am curious to know! So please do the following: 1. Join
